There are times in my life when discouragement has swept in on the heels of mistakes and not being perfect, that has happened fairly regularly. I don’t recall the nature of the mistake, but one day I went home from school in the dumps, beating myself up for my foolishness. I shed tears and prayed but the clouds blotted out the sun. Then my phone sounded and it was this message from a colleague. “Hi _____, thinking of u. Just reading how. By beholding his glory we are being transformed. It’s a process that takes a while but it’s worth the wait, God loves u. His precious daughter … no matter what u think. He loves u and cares 4 u. Ur a gem! Love ya…xo” I cried a long time after that message. It seemed to be direct from God. Growing is painful and we will bow in sorrow before Jesus many times on our journey. Be assured this message is for you too. He loves you, you are precious to him and he wants you to keep going and keep growing in him. Don’t give up!
