I am guilty of all manner of evil. I deserved to be condemned before God, but thanks to Jesus incredible sacrifice for me, I no longer need to fear the judgement. One particular passage in Psalms 103:9-12 shows how great and loving God is toward the sinner. He will not always accuse, nor will he harbor his anger forever; he does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities. For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him; as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us. It never fails to touch my heart that the pure and holy God could step into my place and take the punishment for sin upon himself. When we accept Jesus as our Saviour, God will no longer accuse us. We step from death to life. Don’t hesitate a moment, but give your heart to Jesus, and feel the peace that salvation brings.
