If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. John 15:7 NIV

As a Christian you are much like an electrical appliance. Appliances do not work if they are not plugged into the power. In fact, those appliances are useless without that connection. So, it is with us. To be a powerful and living witness for Jesus we need to be plugged into the power. Our promise tells us how to plug in. ” If you remain in me, and my words remain in you.” Sounds easy enough but it takes effort on our part to set aside time for God because we are busy people. Power comes from plugging into God’s word, praying and listening to his voice. Don’t allow your life to be useless. Plug in and do great things for the Lord.
