My mum and I loved doing jigsaw puzzles together whenever I would visit her. We would put it out on the kitchen table and when meals were served just covered it with a tablecloth. We worked on the beautiful scene for many days, and one evening the dog was sitting under the table. One of the puzzle pieces was knocked off the table accidently. To our horror before we could pick it up the dog gobbled it down. Of course, we never did finish that puzzle because there was one piece missing. Blaise Pascal, a French inventor, writer and philosopher once said “There is a God shaped vacuum in the heart of every man which cannot be filled by any created thing, but only by God, the Creator, made known through Jesus. Our lives are like my puzzle, and they have one piece missing unless we have asked the Maker of the Universe to reside in our hearts. Only then do we truly find completeness.
