There are few cultures of the world that value their old people anymore. In times past old parents were cared for and respected in the family circle. Today, especially in western society, old people are often bundled off to aged care homes and forgotten. Be assured that God does not forget those who are old and gray haired. His heart of love is unchanging through all the years of your life. Others may forget the vibrant, capable person you once were and only see the withered remains that are frail, slow moving, hard of hearing or seeing, forgetful and stuck in the past, but God never will. This promise assures us that the Lord will sustain and carry us to the very end of our life. His strong arms of love will never fail.
