If Jesus spoke of it repeatedly and one out of every thirty verses in the Bible deal with the second advent or the events leading up to it, then it is a subject that scripture wants us to concentrate on. It is the beginning “of the goal to which we press , the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus ” Philippians 3:14 “Now may the God of peace make you holy in every way, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless until our Lord Jesus Christ comes again. God will make this happen, for he who calls you is faithful. ” (1 Thessalonians 5:23
