Unfortunately, people struggle to find the words that might help, or worry that their words might do the opposite and so we stay silent. On his return to Antioch after the first missionary journey Luke, quoting Paul said, ” exhorting them to continue in faith and saying through many tribulations we must enter the kingdom of God.” Acts 14:22. “These things I have spoken to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be if good cheer, I have overcome the world.” John 16.33. Be of good cheer indeed.
