I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.  Ezekiel 36:26

From the time we breathe our first breath, we are selfish and self centred. Our sinful nature demands  ‘I am first, I am most important, my needs must always be met, everyone should look after me’. Ultimately this leads to a world in chaos because nothing stops those who are entitled. They ignore the needs and feelings of others and take anything they want as their right. God offers something better. It is the way of love for he is Love. When we become a Christian we need to be loving, generous, kind, compassionate and selfless. We can’t do this ourselves but God promises us a new heart and a new spirit.
