He remembers his covenant forever, the promise he made, for a thousand generations, 1 Chronicles 16:15 NIV

Just as a wedding covenant is made, God has also established a covenant with us. He has vowed to save all who believe. Like a marriage vow, which is not one-sided, we too must uphold our part of the covenant. We are called to love the Lord with all our heart, soul, and might. Often, marriages disintegrate because love and commitment are not maintained, but God promises to remember His covenant forever. He will unfailingly uphold His part of the agreement, loving us eternally. Through Jesus’ death on the cross, we have been forgiven, and we will ultimately be rescued from this world when Jesus returns. We have not got long to wait. Hold on to your faith! Ask the Father to help you keep your side of the covenant. He will come soon to take you home.
