God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them. Hebrews 6:10 NIV

Sometimes in life we can work without appreciation or thanks. Yet thanks is like grease in an engine, lubricating it, so it runs better. People who are genuinely appreciated and thanked for their work, work harder and for longer. God promises that he will not forget our loving deeds for family, friends and strangers. In Matthew 25:40 he says “…whatever you did for the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” So when your deeds of love are not appreciated remember to look past the unthankful and realise that you are really doing every deed for Jesus and you will certainly be rewarded in the end.
