When you look at the mountains you could not imagine them being shaken from their place, it is somehow unthinkable. We perceive mountains as immovable, secure and mighty. Yet God’s love is here presented as more solid and firm than they. We can depend on that sort of love to care for us in every sphere of our human existence. No matter what is happening in the world, or in our lives, God will never stop loving us. We can go to him at any time and he will hear and help us. No matter what we may have done in the past, if we are genuinely sorry he will forgive us and care for our needs. His love is truly unfailing.
