His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires. 2 Peter 1:3-4

The Bible tells us to taste and see that the Lord is good. It is through claiming the great and precious promises of God that we experience a living relationship with him. When we ask God to honour his word he delights to do what we have asked. We must remember however that God will never give us something that will jeopardise our salvation. He will only ever give us what is for our best. Find out about the great love and compassion of God by claiming his promises.
