If you belong to Christ then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise. Galatian’s 3:29 NIV
Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad III was once a simple Indian boy living a normal life, until one day he found himself the heir to a fabulous fortune and the ruler of a kingdom. Not long before, his father and other distant relatives, had been asked to bring their sons to the palace of the widowed Maharani Jamnabai. She was in need of an heir to rule her kingdom of Baroda. Maharani Jamnabai observed each boy carefully and when she asked 12 year old Gopalrao why he presented himself, he replied. “I have come here to rule.” The Maharani Jamnabai adopted Gopalrao. With guidance he became a wise and caring ruler who ascended the throne of Baroda on Dec. 28, 1881, at the age of 19. When we believe in Jesus, God claims us as his own. We are adopted into the family of the King of the Universe and become heirs in his kingdom of grace.

What a beautiful illustration to describe how God adopt undesirable elements like me to His princess and to be nurtured everyday in preparation for His eternal kingdom. I scarcely can’t take it in. I’m always overwhelmed by His faithfulness.
