But I the Lord will speak what I will, and it shall be fulfilled without delay. For in your days, you rebellious people, I will fulfill whatever I say, declares the Sovereign Lord.’”Ezekiel 12:25 NIV

The God of the Bible is omnipotent. His mighty power can accomplish anything as this promise states. An example is shown in this prophecy. “I will raise up Cyrus in my righteousness: I will make all his ways straight. He will rebuild my city and set my exiles free, but not for a price or reward, says the Lord Almighty. ”Isaiah 45:13 NIV  Isaiah predicted what Cyrus, the first king of the Medes and Persians would do at God’s command. It was written more than 100 years before his entrance onto the stage of history. Anything the Lord wants will be accomplished. We can trust such a powerful God. What he says will be carried out, which includes his glorious return to earth and the final eradication of sin. All will be set right one day. Our trust in such a great God will not be misplaced. Make the living God your friend. Read his word and depend upon his promises until he brings all his words to fulfillment.
