“‘“The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.”’ Numbers 6:24-26 NIV

In ancient times blessings were said over the children of the household by the father. It was more than a casual wish that each child would have a good life, for it was laying the special care of God upon each child, and in some ways, it predicted their future life too. God shows his special favour to those who love and obey him, for it is then that we become his children. As you read these words know that God the Father is speaking his love and blessing over your life. He wants to pour out his bounties on you, his precious child, for he loves you with an everlasting love.
