How I love the changing seasons. The resplendent beauty unfolds before us with the dazzling greens of spring, the golds of summer, the reds and oranges of autumn and the whites, greys and blues of winter. It reminds me daily of God’s great care and loving design in setting the pattern of the seasons. Every portion of his creation shows the hand of the Master Designer and he has promised that these important rhythms of life will not cease until he returns. We can have assurance that despite man’s abuse of the world, which will bring many catastrophic weather events, the cycles of night and day, and the seasons will be sustained by his power until the end of time.
