When we are in trouble who do we turn to? Experts can help but they cannot do what God can. Some years ago my son fell ill with a mystery disease. Finally he found a doctor who might be able help but getting an appointment was months away. I was at his house at the time and as I worked I begged God to help us. I prayed all day Thursday and half of Friday. My Son dragged himself home from a meeting on Friday afternoon and said, “You’ll never guess. I have an appointment with the Doctor on Monday.”  We need to lift our eyes a little higher, for our Great God can work on our behalf in ways we cannot imagine. His providence can direct us, his arms of love surround us, his wisdom guide us to people who can help, his peace fill us. Before you struggle to solve your own problems – look up!
