Sergey Suder was studying to become a journalist in Europe when he became the headline story himself. An uncle he had not seen in 10 years died leaving him 950 million euros. Overnight he became the heir to a vast fortune. The moment we accept Jesus as our Saviour we too become heirs. We might not know it, but not only do we inherit eternal life but we get much, much more. Our inheritance includes the Holy Spirit to guide us and the angels to keep us here on earth. We will receive a palace home in the new earth, with walls made of jasper, golden streets, gates of pearl, and precious stones for the foundations. We will never, ever be cold, hungry or thirsty, sad, sick or mistreated again. All the riches of the universe will be at our disposal and best of all we will get to live with our great, loving God; our father, defender, refuge and Saviour. That day is coming. Hold on to your faith for Jesus will soon return and take us home.
