 Walking through the doors of Versailles, the palace of Louis the Fifteenth and Marie-Antoinette, took my breath away. The sumptuous decor, quantities of gold and obvious luxury was astounding. Truth is like a door into a palace. Our understanding of truth is paramount to our whole life. Without the truth of the Bible and the life of Jesus, it is like seeing just the outside of Versailles. Without stepping inside, we cannot see the real picture. There is a great controversy raging in this world between Lucifer, once the highest angel in heaven, and God. Satan aspired to take God’s place and he was cast out of heaven with his followers. He deceived our first parents into rebelling against God, plunging the world into sin, sorrow and death. Jesus stepped into time and died to save us from certain destruction. There is a tug of war going on for every soul, and knowing the truth gives us a choice. Soon Jesus will return in the clouds, and all those who believe in him will be given eternal life, in his kingdom. Don’t miss it. Give purpose and meaning to your life today, and let the truth set you free.
