My younger son sometimes says to his children, When Nana prays, things happen.” I am sure he believes I have some special power in my prayers but that is erroneous. Hebrews 11:6 says “… anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.” So anyone can receive answers to prayer. I have been told that I am silly to pray over the little things, and should only pray in extremities, but my life has be enriched more times than I could count because I went to Jesus for help. However, it is important to ask God to act according to his will and trust the outcome to his loving hands. Going to God with our heartaches, problems and needs, and intently pleading for the Lord to help us, is what we can all do. Our compassionate Heavenly Father yearns to bless us, to heal us, to meet our needs. He wants you to trust him and you will see amazing things in the future.
