Finding wisdom brings blessings

Blessed are those who find wisdom, those who gain understanding, Proverbs 3:13 NIV

Dawson Trotman was born in Arizona to a Christian mother and atheist father. He was personable, clever and a born leader. During his high school years, he got in with the wrong crowd and began bootlegging liquor, stealing, drinking and gambling. One evening Dawson and his friends went to an amusement park. They became so drunk that they couldn’t find their car when it was time to leave. The Police found them wandering in the carpark. Dawson and his mates were soon arrested, and remorse filled Dawson’s heart. His mother had warned him, that his wreckless ways would land him in jail, and that would kill her. Dawson prayed for God’s help. The policeman decided to give them a warning. This event sobered Dawson and he determined to change his ways. He started attending a local church. Being highly competitive he became involved in a competition to learn the most Bible verses. Those Bible verses changed his life. He had gained understanding and attained wisdom that blessed his life and many others. Dawson went on to launch the ‘Navigators’ a ministry to help new Christians develop a steady faith and find a home church. Your life will be blessed too, as you seek the Lord and walk with him in the way of wisdom.
