In 2019 I was able to visit the Tower of London. It is such an interesting place. In one display I found armour made to safeguard both the knight and his horse as he rode into battle. I am sure it protected him from many arrows, spears and swords in the fighting. God has provided us with armour too. Ephesians 6:14-16 NIV says, Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. God has promised to protect us from the evil one. One of the means he uses is to offer us his armour. Don’t hesitate to fit yourself for battle and trust in God to strengthen you when trials come. He loves you and he wants you to win every battle.
