One evening, when Billy Graham was a young man, he went into the woods to pray. It was there that he pledged to accept the Bible as the infallible word of God. He committed his life and future into the hands of the Lord. He studied at various theological colleges and was asked to pastor a small Baptist church in Western Springs, IL. Opportunities opened before him to begin a radio program called “The Hour of Decision”, and to become a full-time organizer of Youth for Christ. God blessed his work, and the Holy Spirit was poured out at every evangelistic meeting. Soon it became apparent that he would need help to meet the demands of his ever-widening ministry. Thus, the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association was born. Billy Graham preached in the majority of countries around the world. With the help of the BGEA millions of lives have been touched for Jesus. The Lord awaits more men and women to take up the call of God and just like Billy, commit heart, soul and life to the service of the Master. Is he calling you?
