For you are a people holy to the Lord your God. The Lord your God has chosen you out of all the peoples on the face of the earth to be his people, his treasured possession. Deuteronomy 7:6 NIV

There is not one person on the earth that is not precious to Jesus. He died for everyone. Originally, he chose the Jewish nation to be the light to the rest of the world but when they rejected him the Christian age was born. As Christians, we inherit all the promises made to Israel when we accept the salvation offered by God. So this promise is for you. He has chosen you. He has sought you from the time you breathed your first breath. He longs to save you. He desires to share his wonders with you. When you give your heart to God you become one of his treasured possessions. You belong!
