Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.   James 4:7 NIV

When I was about 14, I was plagued by the Devil through terrifying satanic dreams. I became so scared that I did not want to sleep at night. I knew that God existed, and that Jesus had power over Satan, but I had never really made Jesus my own Saviour. These dreams made me run to Jesus. I prayed earnestly for protection and help. God delivered me just as he promised. The Devil troubles us all in different ways. Yet we have a solution. Submit to God, which means giving over our lives into his control. That is the way to resist the Devil. We have no power to do it ourselves, but the Devil is a conquered foe because Jesus died on the cross to rescue us from his hands. So run to Jesus, he will help you and make the Devil flee.
