Eric Liddell was a famous runner who represented the UK at the 1924 Paris Olympics. He ran with determination and courage. Eric won a gold medal in the 400 metres and a bronze in the 200 metre race. He was a devout Christian and believed that every talent, including running, was to be used for God’s glory. God blessed Eric’s athletic abilities and was able to use his vibrant witness to touch the citizens of the United Kingdom and beyond. God wants to bless, guide and use your life in just such a way. He has given you many talents and he wants you to use them for his glory. Ask him what you should do.
