When we were travelling in WA last year we came across a few different memorials to the Red Dog. He was a red kelpie who searched for years to find his owner. His faithfulness to that man’s memory inspired the dog to search the entire Pilbara area of Western Australia over a number of years. In Aussie, we call that sort of faithfulness and integrity being ‘true blue’. The dog was true blue. In our promise today we see that God is the ultimate ‘true blue’. He is forever faithful. He is forever trustworthy. No matter how our faith may fluctuate we can depend on him to be the same forever. No problem is too great, no difficulty too adverse for God. Go to him with all that troubles your life. He can and will be ready to help, for he is TRUE BLUE.
