On a trip to Ireland a few years ago we stayed at an old castle. As the host showed us around the grounds, we came across a forgotten graveyard outside the castle wall. It was covered by vegetation and forgotten by all. This promise today reminds us that no matter if we are alive when Jesus returns or sleeping in the grave we will not be forgotten by God. When we accept Jesus as our Lord and Saviour our names are written in the book of life. Even if we are laid to rest and every living soul has forgotten we exist, Jesus never will. He has promised that one day, when he comes in the clouds and the dead are raised to life again, the faithful who are living will join with them to meet the Lord in the air, and they will all go to live with him forever. Stay connected, and be assured you will never, ever be forgotten by God.
