The Australian Surf Life Saving Association was established in 1907. It is a team of dedicated, brave and hardworking volunteer men and women, that patrol Australian beaches in the summer months. Every year they rescue approximately 10,000 people, not to mention first aid and patrol hours they also provide. They save lives every day. God also knows how to save. In this promise Peter reminds us that Lot, who lived in Sodom, was surrounded by depravity and evil. Lot was grieved by all the wickedness and God rescued him. We too must live in a world of evil. It surrounds us every day and is escalating on a scale never seen before. Will we be swept away in the tide of evil? No for God is at our side. Stay close to him. Read his word, pray often and trust him to rescue you. For he will!
