Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.       Hebrews 4:16 NIV

God is the Creator who spoke the world into existence and hung the stars in the sky. He made majestic mountains, azure seas, towering trees, exquisite flowers and plants, and the wonders of animal life, including man. He is all knowing, omnipresent and all powerful. He is mighty beyond our comprehension, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Yet here in this verse we are told to approach the Ruler of the Universe with confidence and that is because God is love. He loves us so much that he left glory, became a man, died in our place, paying the penalty for our sins and offering forgiveness to all. The death of Jesus opened the way, so we can go confidently to God the Father. He is interested in everything that troubles his children and we can be sure that he will hear and help us.
