“I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely, For My anger has turned away … Hosea 14:4 NKJV

If you have read the Old Testament, you will be aware of the many times Israel and Judah turned away from God to idols. How God grieved over his children. He was angry with their unfaithful behaviour, however, he could not force his people to follow him nor contravene his gift of free will. The only method for winning his people was by the power of love. You too might have wandered far away from God, but he still loves you and wants you to return and be saved. Nothing you have ever done will close the door of grace, except to keep rejecting the love he offers. Don’t wander further. Respond to the voice of Jesus as he pleads with you to open your hearts door and allow him to lift you up and dwell with you. He will heal your hurts and love you freely.
