A group of 4 mates planned to tote their friend Kevan around Europe and the Great Wall of China in a specially designed backpack. Kevan was born with spinal muscular atrophy, that affects voluntary muscle movement, so he lived his life in a wheelchair. Those friends willingly helped design the backpack and trained for the task. Then off they went on adventures. This act of kindness has since inspired others to follow the example of Kevan’s friends and carry the disabled to places they could never go before. A quote from wecarrykevan.org says “There is no exercise better for the heart than reaching down and lifting people up.” God’s love is vast and has the power to motivate human hands, feet and hearts to demonstrate his great love and faithfulness. That love is for you too.
