Not one of all the Lord’s good promises to Israel failed; every one was fulfilled. Joshua 21:45 NIV

This verse is part of a speech given to the Israelites by Joshua after they entered the promised land. He reminded the people that God had cared for them throughout the exodus. Their clothes did not wear out, their sandels stayed in good repair, their food and water was provided. God protected them from their enemies and brought them safely to their new homeland. All the promises of God’s word are for you too. You can be sure that he will stand by his word. He wants you to claim his promises and experience the care and love of the living God. Invite Jesus to dwell in your heart. Trust him no matter what you face. Depend on him for he will never let you down. As you walk into a new year, let God the Father hold your right hand, and he will lead you safely to your heavenly home, for not one of his promises will ever fail.
