The vastness of the universe is truly mind-boggling. NASA states that the distance to Proxima Centauri, our nearest star, is 40,208,000,000,000 kilometers. As a young woman, I battled with low self-esteem, which tainted every aspect of my life. Every negative event seemed to confirm my lack of worth. For years, I believed that not even God could love someone as insignificant as me. However, this belief was unfounded. God’s love is as immense as the universe, and if it can surpass such vastness, it can certainly encompass even the most forlorn soul on Earth. His love extends to all, but becomes even more fervent and profound when we entrust ourselves to his care. Regardless of how you perceive yourself, or how isolated and unloved you may feel, Jesus’s love for you is boundless. He desires you. You are his. Therefore, trust in his words and allow yourself to be filled with comfort.
