The challenges of this life can sometimes be overwhelming. When I was younger I had a huge amount of demands on my time. I had a family to feed, a house to clean, washing and ironing to do, and all the things that make a home comfortable. I took a full-time work load as a Primary Teacher. I entertained 15 to 20 people most weekends, and often had boarders staying for long periods of time. Then, I always ran a kids department at my church too. There were times when I didn’t have the energy to join in the singing at church service because I was so tired, but God always helped me to meet my commitments and enjoy the journey. His promise is not only for strength but for wisdom, help and skill to give your best. You really can do all things through God’s strength… just ask him and it will be yours.
