How abundant are the good things that you have stored up for those who fear you, that you bestow in the sight of all, on those who take refuge in you. Ps 31:19 NIV

The whole house was full of plans and secrets. Hiding in every nook and cranny were gifts just waiting for Christmas morning. At dawn on that special day squeals of delight echoed through the house. Children opened presents that parents have saved and stored to make Christmas wonderful. All parents delight in giving presents to their children. They want to make them happy. They want to show them they are precious. They want to entrench in each little heart the belief that they are special and loved. That is how I see God. He is like a wise but doting parent who loves to thrill our souls with the good things he has stored up for us. You can be sure that he is planning good things for you too, for he loves you.
