Can you imagine the king of beasts growing weak and hungry? It is hard to imagine. Lions have tawny, streamlined bodies, powerful, rippling muscles and savage claws to bring down prey and meet their needs. Yet perhaps extreme circumstances could bring this majestic cat to the point of death, but nothing can find God wanting. No trouble, no event, no circumstance can take away God’s power. He is the everlasting God, the Mighty One, the King of Kings. Nothing makes God weary. He is never tired of hearing your prayers. Our loving, heavenly Father is touched by your needs, and he longs to bring you comfort and help. Lay your requests before him, for he has promised that you will lack no good thing.
