Recently I discovered a deeper meaning to this text that has proved true in the most amazing and unexpected way. It is possible that in this life the things we do for others; money we spend and kindness we show, may not be returned but if we actually see this verse in relation to God and give our good measure to him and love him without reserve – spending our effort and funds for him our lives will be abundantly blessed. God really does pour out his blessing and love upon us without measure. In fact, he loves to surprise and delight us with his good gifts. Try it and see!
