We were on a quick two-day trip to Palmerston Nth, in NZ. Our route went by a volcanic mountain range that caused intermittent snowstorms along the 63km Desert Road. Unaware of this danger our little blue Pulsar was suddenly engulfed by a howling blizzard. The white haze made it impossible to see, and we had no winter tread tyres, chains or 4WD. It was a perilous situation. Snow and ice quickly built up on the road. Cars, RWDs and trucks were slipping off the road around us, out of control and dangerous.  It was terrifying. I began to pray fervently that God would help us, as our first son was just a baby, and we had no snow apparel in the car and few supplies. As those prayers ascended that little car kept creeping along the icy road until we finally came out the other side. No other car made it through before us and we called at the snow station to inform them of the situation, then went on our way praising God for his care. Our God can do anything. Call on him, trust him and you will see marvelous things.
