And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel.” Genesis 3:15 NIV
Immediately that trouble arose in the garden of Eden, God came searching for his lost children. He did not deal with the rebels in anger but with sorrow and love. Hidden in the words of Genesis 3:15 we find the first promise of the Bible. A promise that God would send a Saviour. A promise that would cost the life of Jesus. A promise that would jeopardize the peace and security of the Universe. A promise that would redeem the guilty. A promise that would offer pardon to everyone. A promise that Satan, the serpent in the garden, and his evil angels would ultimately be destroyed. A promise that would pave the way to restoration and a home in the paradise of God. Jesus came to die for you. He paid the price for your sins. He is now waiting and longing for you to choose life.
