The Lord your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you; he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing.  Zephaniah 3:17  

 A mother delights in every moment with her newborn child. She has long awaited their arrival. Pain forgotten, she rejoices in their birth. She quiets her child’s distress, and surrounds them with love and care. Like a mother our mighty God delights in our rebirth into his kingdom. You are the child he delights in. He longs to hold you, quiet your distress, bless you and rejoice over your salvation with singing.
