Many of the psalms we have already looked at are in a chiastic structure. I have chosen to not include this in my commentaries because to our western mind it complicates the discussion. I have included the chiastic structure of Ps 37 below for your interest. I did point out that it was an acrostic psalm. There are 22 letters in the Hebrew alphabet but 40 verses because some letters have 2 verses. To notice the structure, you have to notice the complimentary antithetical thoughts and the several themes that occur throughout the psalm e.g. the nation inheriting the land, and the destruction of the wicked.
