Job 37 gives us the imagery of a storm. Job was in the storm of his life. In all the preceding discourses none had discussed the role of the devil, though you and I have the first 2 chapters. They had a limited understanding. Sin and suffering do not make sense; they are non-sensical! Paul said in 1 Cor13:12 “we behold through a darkened glass.” In Job 38 God speaks from the storm. The biggest thing to learn from this book:- the universality of suffering is counteracted by the universality of redemption.
