According to Rabinc tradition Job was written by Moses and therefore the oldest book in the Bible. Job is now grouped with the 5 central books of the Bible we call wisdom literature. Job deals with one of the central themes in scripture. The origin of trouble and suffering, who is responsible for it and how God is dealing with it. We should approach it with caution only because God accused Jobs 4 friends (one showed up at the end ) of not speaking the truth about Him. ‘ Then the Lord answered Job from the whirlwind: “Who is this that questions my wisdom with such ignorant words? Brace yourself like a man, because I have some questions for you, and you must answer them. ” Job 38:1
