Minute Meditations of Hope and Encouragement #164

In 2002 when I had gone through a divorce, I wrote this “there is no sun without shade: even the night is but a shadow. In the dark nights of our soul and under the mountains of our troubles we can either dig a cave or a tunnel. In the cave we will become lost, in the tunnel we can hope for the better side. God is the God of new beginnings. The providence of the Almighty tells me that we hold the pieces, but he holds the picture. If we give him the pieces, He will give us His peace. You can never break God’s promises by leaning on them.” Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.” (Proverbs 3:5)
