Author and preacher Dean Fredric Farrar was a personal friend of, and honorary chaplain to, Queen Victoria in the 1870s. One day the chaplain preached a sermon on the second coming of Christ. While Queen Elizabeth II was a godly woman who lived her faith, she never claimed to have said this, though the story has been attributed to her.
