Have you ever been falsely accused of something? The Chamberlains were. In a horrendous miscarriage of justice Lindy and Michael were accused of murdering their daughter Azaria. Lindy was imprisoned for three years, and Michael was charged as an accessory. From the beginning the Chamberlains maintained a dingo had stolen their baby while they camped at Ayres Rock. It was a strange accident at Ayres Rock, where a climber slipped and fell to his death, that led to the immediate release of Lindy. While looking into the climber accident Azaria’s matinee jacket was found near a dingo lair. Their convictions were quashed but eventually they were also exonerated. Their innocence was proved true. God works for the good of those who love him. Sometimes it seems a long time coming but we are asked to wait on the Lord for he will certainly not let us down.
